Quark is an international engineering and architecture consultancy specialised in the design and construction of Data Centres.

Ismael Martinez
Managing Director
Ismael Martinez
Ismael Martinez is Managing Director at Quark.
He has over two decades of experience in various engineering fields. He has also been appointed as Project Manager, Operations Director and Engineering Director in different projects and regions. He has successfully led and delivered projects in, Water Treatment Plants, Biomethane Production Plants, Airports, Ports and Railway and Urban Transport.
He has worked in different countries and cultures, such as Spain, México, France and Abu Dhabi, adapting to the local needs and challenges.
He oversees the internationalization of Quark and the development of the production of all Quark offices globally. He has a MSc. in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Catalonia, a MSc. in Environmental Engineering from the IQS of Barcelona and an MBA from the University of Warwick (Hons).
Ismael is passionate about innovation and sustainability, and he always seeks to find the best solutions for his clients and the environment. He is a transformational leader who inspires and motivates his team and fosters collaboration and creativity.
Francesc Galobardes

Francesc Galobardes
Francesc Galobardes is Director of Engineering at Quark.
With more than 18 years of experience, he leads and coordinates the Engineering Department and is a specialist in the digital transformation of design processes, through the management of internal workflows.
His experience is endorsed by the more than 250,000 m2 of IT rooms designed in multiple countries in LATAM and EMEA, in addition to achieving the certification of several Data Centres with TIER III and IV category by the Uptime Institute.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Girona and a Master's degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California Irvine. He is also certified as ATD (Acredite Tier Designer) by the Uptime Institute.
Pilar Anastasio
Director of Architecture
Pilar Anastasio
Pilar Anastasio is Director of Architecture.
She has more than 22 years of experience as an architectural project manager, and has extensive experience in the design of Data Centres.
She is specialised in the development of master plans, feasibility studies, development of projects for licence applications, negotiations with administrations, detailed projects (both in the Spanish System and RIBA's), and construction management.
She has a degree in architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master PMA from C.S.A.
Héctor Hernández

Héctor Hernández
Héctor Hernández is Operations Director at Quark.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of Project Management in different sectors and has worked on large international projects. Currently, he is Operations Director at Quark, supporting the executive team in the management, organisation and transformation of the company.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio and a Master's Degree in Building Installations from UPM. Additionally, he is certified as ATD (Accredited Tier Designer) by the Uptime Institute.
Siddharta Aldavero
Director of the Electrical Department
Siddharta Aldavero
Siddharta Aldavero is Director of the Electrical Department at Quark.
With more than 15 years of experience, he leads and coordinates the Electrical Engineering department and is responsible for projects in the field of electrical installations in Data Centres. In particular, he specialises in electrical continuity solutions and TIER requirements, analysis of Data Centre infrastructures and improvement solutions.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and is certified as an ATD (Accredited Tier Designer) by the Uptime Institute.
Manuel Aldeanueva
Director of the Mechanical Engineering Department
Manuel Aldeanueva
Manuel Aldeanueva is Director of Consulting at Quark.
He has more than 19 years of experience as Facilities Manager, specialising in consulting and engineering of Data Centres, in particular in their adaptation to TIER requirements, in the analysis of infrastructures and in improvement solutions around efficiency, robustness and reliability.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (ICAI-UPC) and an MBA from IE. He is also certified by Uptime Institute as Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and Accredited Operations Specialist (AOS).
Raquel Escudero
Business Development Manager
Raquel Escudero
Raquel Escudero is Business Development Manager at Quark.
With more than 18 years of experience she manages, together with Ricardo Abad, the company's Business Development, accompanying Clients from the first contact to the final phases of their Projects.
She has experience in various functions (Project Management, Proposal Management, data analytics, etc.) in different areas (engineering, management, planning, cost control), project phases (from conceptual studies to construction) and different markets, highlighting Airports, Natural Gas, Hydrogen and Data Centers.
She holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Financial Director
Patricia Narros
Patricia Narros is Financial Director of Quark.
With more than 10 years of experience, she leads the Finance and Human Resources department, coordinating the different management processes of the company.
She has developed her career both nationally and internationally working for large multinational companies.
She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
