Uptime Institute has awarded Quark’s designed Portugal Telecom Data Center as the Best Data Center Design (EMEA) at their first annual Brill Awards for Efficient IT which attracted 100 worthy entrants from 19 countries.
In the judgment of more than 90 industry professionals who evaluated project submissions from leading enterprises around the world, the Portugal Telecom design best exhibited efficiency in data center and IT operation in the broadest sense of the word – efficiency of capital deployment, technology, design, operations, and overall management. The Brill Awards program seeks to showcase companies and technologies that improve the industry’s ability to sustainably deliver IT services to the end user
